Football Recap: Crofton Starts Season with Victory at Home + How To Watch

Crofton gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They breezed past the Southern Bulldogs to the tune of 56-18. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-6.

When it comes to explaining why Southern lost, don't look at Vinny Zimmerman. Despite the final result, he threw for 226 yards and one TD, and also punched in one score on the ground.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crofton will host Old Mill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Southern, they will be playing at home against Annapolis at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
