Softball Recap: Cache Beats Purcell for Their Third Straight Victory

While Cache's victory against Purcell wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 win over the Dragons on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Cache's victory bumped their record up to 25-13. As for Purcell, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-19 record this season.

Cache will head out to square off against Washington at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bulldogs 2.4, the Warriors 1.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. Purcell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
