Basketball Recap: Corry Takes a Loss

Corry was the 41-39 winner over Eisenhower when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Corry Beavers fell 47-37 to the Eisenhower Knights on Monday. The Beavers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eisenhower got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Clara Steinberg out in front who posted 14 points in addition to seven assists and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Lainey Font, who went 5 of 10 on her way to 12 points.

Corry now has a losing record at 1-2.

Corry wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 36-31 win against North East on the 11th. Eisenhower has also already played their next contest, a 60-24 victory against Youngsville on the 11th.
