Westview and Francis Parker squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Westview had to settle for second. They took a 51-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Francis Parker Lancers. The Wolverines' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Francis Parker's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brianna Mendez, who went 6-for-13 on her way to 14 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Gigi Ong, who posted eight points along with seven assists and three steals.

Westview's defeat dropped their record down to 20-9. As for Francis Parker, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-8.
