Basketball Game Preview: Centennial Apaches vs. Dominguez Dons

The Centennial Apaches will take on the Dominguez Dons at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Centennial's tournament run continued when they took on Whitney on Tuesday. The Apaches were beaten by the Wildcats 66-28. The Apaches have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Dominguez came up short against Los Amigos on Tuesday and fell 38-29. The loss was the Dons' first of the season.

Centennial now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Dominguez, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Centennial ended up a good deal behind Dominguez in their previous matchup back in January, losing 40-26. Can the Apaches avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
