Soccer Recap: Vista Takes a Loss

Vista lost against San Dieguito Academy back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Vista Panthers came up short against the San Dieguito Academy Mustangs, falling 11-1. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 9-0.

This is the second loss in a row for Vista and nudges their season record down to 1-9-3. As for San Dieguito Academy, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Vista duke it out with the Sage Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for San Dieguito Academy, they will square off against Canyon Crest Academy on Monday.
