Madera South is 8-1 against McLane since December of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Madera South Stallions will venture away from home to challenge the McLane Highlanders at 6:30 p.m. Madera South has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-2 during that stretch of close contests.

Last Tuesday, Madera South didn't have quite enough to beat Sanger West and fell 45-43.

Despite their defeat, Madera South saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. CRYSTALINA BUITRON, who posted 17 points, was perhaps the best of all. MICHELLE CORONA was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for McLane, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 33-23 win over Justin Garza on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Highlanders as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Madera South has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-12 record this season. As for McLane, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 10-15.

Madera South strolled past McLane in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 52-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for Madera South since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
