It's playoff time, and Marysville had no trouble coming through when it counted. They had just enough and edged out the Sacramento Dragons 29-26. Winning may never get old, but the Indians sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Demi Boykin continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 11 points and five steals. She has been hot, having posted four or more steals the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Abigail Pietz, who posted four points along with six steals and five rebounds.

Marysville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in five consecutive contests.

Despite the loss, Sacramento had strong showings from La Ne Dunn, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 12 boards, and Chrisshaya Haygood, who earned seven points and seven rebounds.

Marysville's victory bumped their record up to 23-7. As for Sacramento, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-10.

Coming up, Marysville will face off against Riverbank at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Marysville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.9 points per game this season. Sacramento does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
