Football Game Preview: Detroit Lakes Lakers vs. Becker Bulldogs

Detroit Lakes is 0-3 against Becker since November of 2021 but things could change on Wednesday. The Lakers will take on the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Detroit Lakes has given up an average of 29.1 points per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Detroit Lakes had to suffer through a 55-7 loss at the hands of Willmar.

Meanwhile, Becker came up short against Rocori on Friday and fell 28-21. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota football rankings (they are ranked 100th, while the Spartans are ranked 22nd).

Detroit Lakes' defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Becker, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Detroit Lakes ended up a good deal behind Becker in their previous matchup back in October of 2022, losing 31-14. Can the Lakers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
