Basketball Recap: McKeesport Comes Up Short

McKeesport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by the Greensburg Central Catholic Centurions 60-29. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 420th, while the Centurions are ranked 85th).

McKeesport's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Greensburg Central Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

McKeesport has already played their next match, a 48-23 loss against Indiana on the 24th. As for Greensburg Central Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 76-15 win against Ligonier Valley on the 24th.
