Morse won the last time they faced University City and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Morse Tigers managed a 42-36 win over the University City Centurions. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Morse got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Victoria Garingo out in front who posted nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Valenica, who scored eight points.

Several Centurions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Topanga Tusantoso, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine boards. That's the most rebounds Tusantoso has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kami Demara, who earned seven points in addition to six boards and five steals.

Morse's record now sits at 14-9. As for University City, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-14.

Morse wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 39-28 loss against Cathedral Catholic on the 7th. As for University City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 40-29 defeat against Scripps Ranch on the 7th.
