Arlington owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Saturday. They walked away with a 4-0 win over the Tekamah-Herman Tigers. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Not much got past Tessa Spivey, who gave up just five hits and racked up 14 Ks to keep Tekamah-Herman off the board. Spivey has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kallan Reed, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That double marked the first that she has hit this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Arlington and bumps their season record up to 3-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Tekamah-Herman, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Arlington wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Guardian Angels Central Catholic on the 30th.
