Basketball Game Preview: West Park Panthers vs. Antelope Titans

The West Park Panthers are taking a road trip to square off against the Antelope Titans at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Antelope took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on West Park, who comes in off a win.

West Park is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Cordova: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that West Park blew Cordova out of the water with a 70-29 final score. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Antelope ended up a good deal behind McClatchy on Wednesday and lost 72-56. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 70th, while the Lions are ranked 14th).

West Park pushed their record up to 12-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.7 points per game. As for Antelope, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.
