Baseball Recap: Discovery Takes a Loss

Discovery was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Dacula Falcons, falling 12-2. That's two games in a row now that the Titans have lost by exactly ten runs.

Santiago Daal was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremy Suarrez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Even though they lost, Discovery always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .522. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Discovery now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Dacula, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

While Discovery had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
