Baseball Recap: Magoffin County Comes Up Short

Magoffin County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 5-0 to the Johnson Central Golden Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Golden Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 5-1 loss back in April.

Magoffin County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Johnson Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Magoffin County nor Johnson Central have any future games scheduled.
