Charlton County had lost three games at home, but after bumping their record up to 4-5-1 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They skirted past the Clinch County Panthers 4-3. This was payback for the Indians, who suffered an 11-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Having lost for the first time this season, Clinch County fell to 5-1. The contest marked their lowest-scoring match so far this season.

For Clinch County's part, Sophie Corbitt was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one double. That double was Corbitt's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Giddens, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Looking ahead, Charlton County will square off against Echols County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clinch County, they will take on Fitzgerald at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
