For the second straight game, Marion Center will face off against Penns Manor. The Stingers will square off against the Comets at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Marion Center is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.

Marion Center barely beat Penns Manor the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Stingers were the clear victors by a 16-6 margin over the Comets on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

For Penns Manor's part, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Mellott, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Drew Valazak was another, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Marion Center's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Penns Manor, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-16.
