Soccer Game Preview: Liberty County vs. Woodville-Tompkins

The Liberty County Panthers will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Woodville-Tompkins Wolverines at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Woodville-Tompkins took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Liberty County, who comes in off a win.

Liberty County is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Bryan County. Liberty County never let Bryan County onto the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Thursday. Trey Aiello was a massive factor in the win as he booted in four goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Woodville-Tompkins unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of Groves by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Wolverines couldn't quite close it out.
