The Mountain Range Mustangs will head out on the road to  challenge  the Westminster Wolves  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Mountain Range has given up an average of 10.1  runs per game this season, but Friday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
On Thursday, Mountain Range came up short against Prairie View  and fell  15-11. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
  Omari Salazar Rodriguez made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and  went a perfect 3-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Audryanna Martinez, who  earned one  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base.
Westminster came out on top against Boulder  on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run fourth inning. The Wolves were the clear victors by  a  14-0 margin over the Panthers. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive  victory against them.
 Elizabeth Flores looked comfortable as she  didn't allow a single  earned run over four innings pitched.
 On the hitting side, Westminster got a  massive  performance out of  Eva Muniz, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  triple. What's more,  Muniz posted two  RBI, the most she's  had since back in August.  Magaly Santacruz Vasquez was another key player,  going 1-for-2 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.
 Westminster  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .586. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  OBP total in three consecutive  matchups.
 Mountain Range's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Westminster, their record now sits at 10-12.
 Mountain Range skirted past Westminster  9-8 in their previous meeting  back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
