Softball Recap: Pepperell Comes Up Short

Pepperell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They lost 9-0 to the Armuchee Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 back in August.

Pepperell's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Armuchee, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pepperell will welcome Mt. Zion at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Armuchee, they will host Ridgeland at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
