Softball Recap: Cardinal Comes Up Short

Cardinal lost against Chariton on June 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Comets came up short against the Chargers, falling 9-3. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cardinal's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Chariton, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-3.

Cardinal didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 9-1 loss against Fairfield on the 24th. As for Chariton, they have also already played their next game, an 11-0 win against Knoxville on the 24th.
