Football Recap: Harlingen South Hawks vs. Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial Eagles

It was a Battle of the Birds when Harlingen South faced off against Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial on Friday. The Hawks took a 28-14 bruising from the Eagles. If the Hawks were looking for revenge after losing 24-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Harlingen South now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
