Basketball Recap: H&H Comes Up Short

The H&H Bearcats came up short against the Osceola Bulldogs on Thursday and fell 48-37. The Bearcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, H&H still got an impressive performance from Sophie Minary, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 12 boards. Minary has been hot, having posted eight or more rebounds the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Katelyn Farrall, who posted eight points.

Bella Recker had another great game (as she tends to do), dropping a double-double with 20 points and 18 boards for Osceola. That makes it 13 consecutive games in which Recker has scored at least a third of the Bulldogs' points. Emersyn Prososki was another key player, putting up six points.

H&H's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Osceola, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

H&H does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Osceola, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 56-20 win against Shelby-Rising City on the 13th.
