Basketball Game Preview: Abraham Lincoln Railsplitters vs. Bodine

The Abraham Lincoln Railsplitters will venture away from home to face off against Bodine at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Abraham Lincoln's defense has only allowed 27.2 points per game this season, so Bodine's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Abraham Lincoln will head into Monday's contest hoping to keep the good times rolling: they proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 21) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Academy at Palumbo 47-45. The win was nothing new for the Railsplitters as they're now sitting on three straight.

Destiny Santiago was the offensive standout of the match as she posted 17 points. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Simone Smith, who scored 11 points.

Meanwhile, Bodine earned a 43-34 victory over Penn Treaty on Monday.

Bodine now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Abraham Lincoln, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.
