Soccer Game Preview: Cook vs. Pierce County

The Cook Hornets will head out to face off against the Pierce County Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Cook took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Worth County a 2-0 shutout. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Hornets were the better team in the second half.

Alan Garcia and Riley Phillips scored both of Cook's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Meanwhile, Pierce County came tearing into Tuesday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Bulldogs as they made off with a 4-0 win.
