Baseball Recap: Galloway Takes a Loss

Galloway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 14-1 to the Fellowship Christian Paladins. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Scots of the 7-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2017.

Malcolm Stachowiak was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run. He also put up a run, which was his first of the season.

Galloway's record now sits at 2-10. As for Fellowship Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Galloway will face off against The Weber School at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Fellowship Christian, they will square off against Villa Rica at 5:55 p.m. on the 11th.
