Football Game Preview: Wayzata Trojans vs. Eden Prairie Eagles + Official Tickets

The Wayzata Trojans are taking a road trip to challenge the Eden Prairie Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Wayzata has given up an average of 28.6 points per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Wayzata is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Maple Grove on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Trojans lost 42-21 to the Crimson. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Crimson recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Meanwhile, Eden Prairie made easy work of Eastview on Friday and carried off a 35-12 win. With the Eagles ahead 21-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

The victory made it two in a row for Eden Prairie and bumps their season record up to 5-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 34.5 points over those games. As for Wayzata, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Wayzata didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Eden Prairie in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, but they still walked away with a 27-21 victory.
