LaFayette had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.1 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Monday. They came out on top against the Calhoun Yellow Jackets by a score of 6-1. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 12-9 win back in August.

LaFayette's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Calhoun, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-10.
