South and North are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2021, but likely not for long. The Rebels will take on the Rangers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Neither South nor North posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

South easily dispatched Geneva on Thursday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Rebels fell just short of Independence by a score of 4-2 on Friday. The Rebels' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Kenston hit North with a 11-run third inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Rangers lost 18-1 to the Bombers. Rangers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Bombers since Wednesday.

South's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for North, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12.

South came out on top in a nail-biter against North in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, sneaking past 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rebels since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
