It was a good run, but Steele unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Flour Bluff Hornets.

Khadijah Blue paced Steele's offense, picking up six kills. Blue were helped by Kaycie Lopez and Avery Nelson, who contributed ten assists each.

Steele's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Flour Bluff, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Steele will welcome Clark at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Flour Bluff, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Ray at 6:00 p.m.
