Bremen is 2-7 against Shepard since April of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Braves will host the Astros at 7:15 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Bremen's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Hillcrest 13-0. The Braves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by eight runs or more this season.

AJ Herrera and Carlos Soto made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, Herrera tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Soto pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2025. At the plate, Herrera went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run, while Soto went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jack Banda, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Bremen is 5-1 when Banda posts two or more runs, but 2-9 otherwise. Jon Olivera was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Bremen kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are 4-2 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Shepard made easy work of Argo on Tuesday and carried off a 14-5 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Astros.
Shepard's victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Bremen, their win bumped their record up to 7-10.
Bremen came up short against Shepard when the teams last played back in May of 2025, falling 5-2. Can the Braves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
