Desert Mountain found a leader in Davian Whitener as the team took down Ironwood Ridge on Friday. Whitener turned in nothing short of a gem, making seven total tackles (3.5 for loss) and defending three passes in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.
