Softball Recap: Lincoln Northeast Takes a Loss

Lincoln Northeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Papillion-LaVista South Titans.

Taelynn Wunderlich made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.

Lincoln Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Papillion-LaVista South, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Coincidentally, Lincoln Northeast and Papillion-LaVista South will both be playing Lincoln Southeast the next time they take the field. The Titans will head out to face the Knights at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Rockets will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
