Baseball Recap: Wilkinson County Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Wilkinson County's offense. They came up short against the Georgia Military College Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 12-0. Having soared to a lofty 19 runs in the game before, the Warriors' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Wilkinson County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nick Carswell, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. That stolen base was Carswell's first of the season.

Wilkinson County's loss dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for Georgia Military College, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-10.

While Wilkinson County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
