Soccer Recap: Hillcrest Comes Up Short

Hillcrest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 5-0 to the Arlington Lions. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 on January 7th.

Hillcrest's loss dropped their record down to 5-11-3. As for Arlington, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2-1 record this season.

Hillcrest will head out to challenge Liberty at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Arlington, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Arlington take on the Canyon Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
