Football Recap: Kimball Starts Season with Loss at Home + How To Watch

Kimball unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 26-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Royalton Royals on Thursday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Cubs came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota football rankings (they are ranked 44th, while the Royals are ranked 144th).

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kimball will welcome Paynesville at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Royalton, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Holdingford at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
