Savannah Hall leads Carver High School of Engineering & Science to victory over Abraham Lincoln

Recap: Carver High School of Engineering & Science vs. Abraham Lincoln Railsplitters

Carver High School of Engineering & Science scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 57-34 margin over Abraham Lincoln. The win was nothing new for Carver High School of Engineering & Science as they're now sitting on three straight.

Savannah Hall was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Carver High School of Engineering & Science's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Brown, who scored 13 points along with seven steals.

Despite the loss, Abraham Lincoln saw an underclassman step up: Makayla Taylor-Haynes scored 14 points. That was a full 41.2% of Abraham Lincoln's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Carver High School of Engineering & Science's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Abraham Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4.

Carver High School of Engineering & Science will be playing at home against Parkway Northwest at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Parkway Northwest comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 18 points in their last six games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. Abraham Lincoln will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Dobbins-Randolph Vo-Tech at 10:00 a.m. on January 15th.
