Soccer Recap: Bryan County Comes Up Short

Bryan County lost against Portal back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bryan County Redskins came up short against the Portal Panthers, falling 6-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Redskins were already down 3-0.

Bryan County is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4. As for Portal, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-2.

Coming up, Bryan County will take on Metter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Metter will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Bryan County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Portal, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 victory against McIntosh County Academy on the 6th.
