Softball Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short

Mountain View lost against Timnath back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mountain Lions lost 13-1 to the Cubs. The Mountain Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mountain View saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Izabella Atwood, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18-1. As for Timnath, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 7-14-1 record.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mountain View is set to take on their familiar foe Thompson Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Timnath will square off against rival Greeley Central at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
