Basketball Recap: Hoover Comes Up Short

Hoover lost against Crescenta Valley back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hoover Tornados were dealt a 68-28 defeat at the hands of the Crescenta Valley Falcons. While losing is never fun, the Tornados can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 770th, while the Falcons are ranked 108th).

Hoover has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Crescenta Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Hoover has already played their next contest (against Burbank), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Crescenta Valley has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Muir.
