Preview: Glendale Adventist Cougars vs. Hillcrest Christian Saints
The Glendale Adventist Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Hillcrest Christian Saints at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
On Saturday, Glendale Adventist came up short against Newbury Park Adventist and fell 36-25.
Sofia Escudero put forth a good effort for the losing side as she dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Hillcrest Christian also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Newbury Park Adventist by a score of 32-21.
Glendale Adventist's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Hillcrest Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
Glendale Adventist won a match that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in November of 2018, slipping by Hillcrest Christian 31-30. The rematch might be a little tougher for Glendale Adventist since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
