Basketball Recap: Newton Takes a Loss

Newton lost against Manhattan back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Railroaders received a blow as they fell 55-37 to the Indians.

Newton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Manhattan, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Newton will take on Valley Center at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Manhattan, they have already played their next game, a 0-0 draw against Hugoton on the 6th.
