Baseball Recap: South Forsyth Comes Up Short

If South Forsyth was riding high fresh off their 13-5 takedown of Lambert last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. South Forsyth fell just short of Lambert by a score of 14-13 on Friday. Surprisingly, this marked the third straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

South Forsyth's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Lambert, they pushed their record up to 7-11 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Forsyth will square off against Alpharetta at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lambert, they will venture away from home to challenge North Atlanta at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. North Atlanta will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
