Basketball Game Preview: San Diego Cavers vs. Crawford Colts

The San Diego Cavers will challenge the Crawford Colts at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Crawford took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on San Diego, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, everything went San Diego's way against High Tech SD as San Diego made off with a 64-40 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cavers.

Meanwhile, Crawford unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 32-19 to Patrick Henry.

San Diego will need focus on slowing down Ana Maria Guerrier, one of several Crawford players who made an impact when they last played. She posted five points along with five boards and three blocks. That's the most blocks Guerrier has posted since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Monique Taylor, who earned four points and three steals.

San Diego's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-12. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.3 points. As for Crawford, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.

San Diego took their victory against Crawford when the teams last played back in January of 2022 by a conclusive 58-38. Will San Diego repeat their success, or does Crawford have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
