Recap: High School of the Future vs. Paul Robeson Huskies
High School of the Future scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 58-38 margin over Paul Robeson. High School of the Future has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 20 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Jahanna Mitchell, who scored 30 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Makiyah Waters, who scored 11 points.
When it comes to explaining why Paul Robeson lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ashley Robinson. Despite the final result, she scored 36 points along with nine steals and five rebounds. Robinson is absolutely dominating the point category: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season.
High School of the Future has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for Paul Robeson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.
High School of the Future's road trip will continue as they head out to face Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush at 3:15 p.m. on January 22nd. Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak. As for Paul Robeson, they will be playing at home against Samuel Fels at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Pennsylvania (Samuel Fels is ranked 448th, while Paul Robeson is ranked 470th).
