Softball Recap: Jenkins Comes Up Short

Jenkins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets, falling 21-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Yellow Jackets this season, with their most recent loss being a 16-1 defeat on Thursday.

Jenkins saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ma'Kaiyah Gray, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Jenkins' loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Southeast Bulloch, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Jenkins is set to face off against their familiar foe Calvary Day at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Southeast Bulloch will take on rival Liberty County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
