Softball Game Preview: Midtown Knights vs. Decatur Bulldogs

Midtown is on a four-game streak of home wins, while Decatur is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Knights will host the Bulldogs at 5:55 p.m. on Monday.

Midtown is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 18 runs on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Pace Academy on Wednesday. They lost 9-1 to Pace Academy. Midtown hasn't had much luck with Pace Academy recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Thursday. Decatur put the hurt on Tri-Cities with a sharp 14-3 victory. Considering Decatur has won 12 contests by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Midtown now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Decatur, their win bumped their record up to 16-2.
