Recap: Jurupa Valley Jaguars vs. San Bernardino Cardinals
The Jurupa Valley Jaguars won against the San Bernardino Cardinals last Tuesday with 31 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Jurupa Valley escaped with a win against San Bernardino by the margin of a single free throw, 31-30. The victory was familiar territory for Jurupa Valley who now have three in a row.
San Bernardino's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Rihanna Scott, who scored six points along with nine rebounds and two steals, and Laniah Porter who scored four points along with nine rebounds. Scott hasn't dropped below two blocks for three straight games.
Jurupa Valley's win bumped their record up to 4-18. As for San Bernardino, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-9.
Jurupa Valley will head out on the road to take on Indian Springs at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Indian Springs will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive. San Bernardino will take on Rubidoux at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Rubidoux and San Bernardino are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
