The Grand Junction Tigers will head out to challenge the Palisade Bulldogs at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Grand Junction will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.
Grand Junction is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Colorado's top teams: Fruita Monument, who was ranked 12th at the time (Grand Junction was ranked 22nd). The Tigers beat the Wildcats on Tuesday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 5-3.

Kloe Donahue spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on three hits and racked up 13 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Alexis Walpole was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Alysa Lorimor, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
Meanwhile, Palisade came up short against Rifle on Wednesday and fell 8-4. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Palisade saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was MacKenzie Gray, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
Grand Junction's victory bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Palisade, their loss dropped their record down to 13-9.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Grand Junction has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Palisade struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.5 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Grand Junction was able to grind out a solid win over Palisade in their previous meeting back in September, winning 6-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
