Pleasantville waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Marshalltown Bobcats get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won six matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Pleasantville pushed their record up to 11-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Marshalltown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-12.

Coincidentally, Pleasantville and Marshalltown will both be playing East Marshall the next time they take the field. The Trojans will host the Mustangs on Saturday, while the Bobcats will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
